Functions

Create and edit entries: Quickterm Copilot can be opened directly from the entry editor and uses AI to help you create, formulate, and edit terminology entries.
Generate metadata: The AI in Quickterm generates suggestions for metadata such as definitions, grammatical information, or domain and subject areas. This can be done either directly in the entry or as a batch process, for example to add a language to existing entries or to automatically add missing or non-standard definitions, including labels such as "AI-generated".

Check and correct terminology : Quickterm recognizes incorrect terms in the source text or in translations and suggests corrections. Thanks to AI, these suggestions can be adapted to the proper grammar and syntax of the sentence (e.g., gender, plural, etc.) and even be implemented as a batch correction for an entire document. The changes are clearly presented and you can decide whether to accept or reject them.
Extract terminology: For terminology extraction, we offer the TermCatch tool from our partner Fodina. It recognizes relevant concepts and term suggestions in texts, forming the basis for the systematic cultivation or expansion of your terminology database. What's more, TermCatch achieves an accuracy rate of over 95%!

Cluster synonyms and variants: AI can also be used in TermCatch to group term suggestions that refer to the same concept into synonym clusters. This allows you to recognize preferred, forbidden, or context-dependent variant terms more quickly, which can save a lot of time – especially with large amounts of data.
