Inclusive language is a so-called interdisciplinary matter that affects (almost) everyone. Efficient implementation therefore requires a shared, central data source such as a terminology database in which all guidelines and linguistic rulings are managed. It also forms the basis for supporting content producers, for example – and in all the languages used at that.
Anita Wilson presents some useful pointers on how to lay the foundations for inclusive language within companies as well as how to implement it.
